I have, but going by several reviews the Switch controller still faires the best for me and I hope the new one will do even better. There just isn’t anything that can compete right now.

That’s something at least. Now Nintendo needs to actually advertise their shop and those deals instead of yet another wave of retro ports.
Though it’s probably worth mentioning I’m not going to buy a Switch 2 anyway. I’m more of an observer from the PC gaming sidelines.
I mean with those price tags you expect games to look better. Anything else would be ridiculous.
To be fair, there is no guarantee you‘ll be able to emulate Switch 2 games as soon and easily as Switch games. You just might, but we really don‘t know for sure.
It‘s interesting they abandoned physical media completely and nobody is talking about it. This makes them a direct competitor to Steam and well… let‘s just say I don‘t see 90% discounts in the Nintendo shop any time soon.
Plus the Switch barely had any exclusive games. For a Nintendo console anyway. Perhaps that‘s something Nintendo is working on now, but I doubt it can compete with PC games in terms of bang you get for your buck. There‘s just no way.
I won’t lie, I’m only interested in the new Pro controller. My old one has slight stick drift which absolutely sucks of course but it’s over 7 years old and feels so much better than anything else on the market. I also prefer the Nintendo button layout over Microsoft’s so it’s an easy purchase.
What makes BG3 so great is that it doesn‘t just have voice acting, it has full acting. The actor of Astarion worked for 4 years on it and claimed it was the equivalent to shooting 4 seasons of a TV show. It‘s a huge scope that almost nobody can or want to afford. I mean those studios who can just don‘t take that part very seriously and are eyeing with simply opting to use AI instead. I doubt it will ever be recreated, maybe not even by Larian themselves.
Let me sell my digital licenses before we talk about them like they‘re comparable to physical media.
Headline makes it sound Ubisoft posted this, but it doesn‘t look like it.
Hold on. Why are you replying with unrelated things that Valve did instead of focusing on VR to get people onto that platform? Kind of proves my point, doesn‘t it? Also Covid? Seriously? If anything Covid should‘ve accelerated development on VR games.
I mean it‘s 5 years old now and what has Valve released for VR since? A single game isn‘t gonna make a hardware and they know that. It was a failure in the end of the day.
You can still play them on both console and PC and not only PC.
And only on PC
That’s going to be a long wait my friend.
Smart TV having absolutely horrible default settings and filters that ruin any viewing experience has little to do with HDR because the TV isn‘t even processing HDR images most of the time. That stuff is already mixed and there‘s not much any device can do to give you details in the darks and brights back. It‘s a much different story when you‘re actually processing real color information like in a video game. HDR should absolutely help you see in the dark here.
It‘s especially evident shortly after these announcements. I was looking for a resource to summarize and comment on the Direct but most things I found were posts by what I can only describe as ecstatic fanboys. Honestly I was surprised how little the Switch 2 is actually talked about outside this bubble.
