I feel like you meant to reply to another comment. Were you referring to Moneymanager EX?
To tack on this. She definitely needs therapy, classic trauma-based coping mechanisms, and the depression may be because of that or exacerbating that. I’d also say, due to natural biases, that we may not have as much negative info on him, but that’s okay.
I think he’s almost done and she’s either almost done or done. Probably the best option is to get out sooner with a little less drama and take some lessons from this. The alternative is to keep trying to fix it until all feeling is gone, then break up with a nicely burned bridge in the background.
I have a Win11 laptop for work, and they changed the Start menu. Now it’s recent apps and recommendations for your starting point, and you have to click an option to see installed apps. Every. Time. There is a setting with 3 options - more recently used apps, more recommendations, or an even split of both, but the option to go straight to installed apps is mysteriously missing…
I will never install Win11 directly onto my hardware. If I have to use it, it will go into a VM of one flavor or another.
This is pretty much me. Used RIF, when it stopped working, I stopped going there regularly. Took a couple weeks to completely kick the habit, and a year of occasional use via search engines, never even bothering to log in. Now I almost never go there. I’ll head there as a last resort if a search engine can’t find me a useful alternative for what I’m looking for.
If you haven’t seen her other posts, I’d jump on her profile and read it. There are 7 more of these out there!
As a Voyager user, the image load takes a looong time, but everything scrolls smoothly (except for the text jumping as images load).
FYI, in at least parts of Canada, a vehicle can be jointly owned by spouses.
I’ve had white collar jobs where champagne breakfast was a thing, and blue collar jobs with heavy equipment where driving with any degree of intoxication had serious consequences but, surprisingly enough, not necessarily dismissal.
Also, decades ago, I worked with skilled laborers who would have a beer over lunch, and with concrete finishers who would drink a case of beer between 2 or 3 people while working. I feel like concrete finishers used to work for a flat dollar rate plus beer. If there was enough beer, they would stay all night long.
Every terrible thing done under religion has been done without religion. None of them have happened without people (except for killing the different). Maybe people are the problem and religion is just one of many tools that can be used to harm other people. Tribalism exists in many forms, religion in its many flavors being just one of them.
But heating the gas inside would also work because, no matter how perfect the seal is, it won’t matter if there is no vacuum to hold the two pieces together.
