They are in no way equal, thats for sure. At least domestically, america is better. Russia is imperialistic and oppressive.

I really don’t understand the flatpak hate. Stuff doesn’t magically work across distros, and app devs don’t usually want to debug every major one. If you’re running linux on a thinkpad from 2004, sure, it wouldn’t be the best but most people can probably afford the overhead.

I would define it as authoritarian communists, who are supportive of the USSR and similar.

I don’t have the time to write a full reply right now, but I just used the word “regime” to describe any sort of a system. I would refer to the u.s as a capitalist regime, for example. Am I using it wrong?
