Agreed, Finch is a great way to keep track of self-care and watch your little creature thrive through it.
I wouldn’t recommend it. I did this once (didn’t see the cop). He just pulled up next to me at the next red light and shook his head in disapproval, but I fully expected to be pulled over. Tbf I’m white and was presenting female at the time, so I imagine it would have gone differently if I was any other demographic.
I’m not sure I agree with this, unless OP did something offensive. I’m back in the dating world for the first time in nearly a decade, and with every match that goes poorly either I explain “I’m sorry, I don’t see this going anywhere further but I wish you the best.” or they do the same for me. The only instance of ghosting was when a man tried to SA me a few months ago.
Jobs you’re applying to, as well, should send a response to your application even if it’s just an automated generic email.
Oh man, Basshunter was huge in the chronically-online gamer space in the 2000s. His other songs are pretty good too.
To put it in perspective, the fact that they’re gaming on laptops and LCD monitors was an enviable flex when his songs released.
That’s a throwback. Let’s take it one step further and just get back on Ventrilo and play some DOTA. (For the younger folks who don’t get the reference: https://youtu.be/aTJncWndUB8 )
I have two servers, one Mac and one Windows. For the Mac I just map directly to the smb share, for the Windows it’s a standard network share. My desktop runs Linux and connects to both with ease.
Not gonna lie, I just map a network share and copy and paste through the gui.
I’m actually using Nobara, but it’s not very popular so I just say Fedora in day-to-day conversation. From my understanding, Fedora-based distros play better with Nvidia GPUs.
Gaming is great on Linux nowadays btw. I installed Fedora a few weeks ago and haven’t had a single problem with any of my games - I’m getting better framerates, too.
Tl:dr Discovered I have a phobia for sleight-of-hand magicians and it ruined the most romantic opportunity of my life.
I booked an expensive, bougie hotel room for me and my (at the time) boyfriend, and we were planning on a wild night. He asked me to leave the room for an hour for him to prepare, so I went to the hotel bar for a drink. A guy approached me to bum a cig and began doing random magic tricks - pulling cards out of nowhere, making things appear in my pocket, and making ashes appear in my palm. I’m not sure why, but I absolutely panicked - it felt so violating to think that he was in my pockets and making things happen to my body without my knowledge or consent.
I ended up in a full blown panic attack and rushed back to the room. My partner was fully ready for an amazing romantic encounter, with rose petals and champagne and everything. I ended up just hyperventilating and ranting about scary magicians then fell asleep. I felt so bad that I ruined the night. I still get anxiety when I see magic tricks.
A lack of organization. There’s no one central voice organizing large scale protests, so you get hundreds or thousands of smaller protests that don’t attract media attention.
