I don’t know how big of a risk this really is these days… I used to host a PHPbb forum in the early 2000’s off my personal computer and it didn’t get any traffic beyond myself and the friends I told about it. Kinda curious about that, myself, with how things have changed over the last 25 years.

All these Nvidia driver memes are why I haven’t fully switched to Linux with my main rig (which is used solely for gaming). Servers, fuck yeah boy, Linux all the way. Stable as fuck and super lightweight. But I don’t need those to render things in 3D at 60+ FPS.

I also never got Wi-Fi drivers working until Ubuntu first came out and I tried it.

That kinda shit makes it feel like a catch-22: some things don’t work on Linux because nobody is developing that thing for Linux, and they aren’t developing that thing for Linux because people who use that thing don’t use Linux (because it’s not there). Partially why I learned to code; sometimes I want something that doesn’t exist so I must create it. Unfortunately, I am not learned enough to make drivers/wrappers. 😔

I can’t even play JC4 because JC3 was just so good. Why the hell did they change the formula in 4? The missions are boring as hell in 4. They kept the “fight these guys,” “open these doors,” “release these prisoner” missions, but I have yet to be tasked with destroying, well, anything. 😮‍💨

The only thing in 4 I liked more than 3 was that the rocket things you can stick on stuff can be used multiple times and don’t automatically explode, so you can use them to fly a car without fear of blowing up.

Prototype was my jam back in the day, since I had Xbox and not a PS3 and couldn’t play Infamous.

Having played Infamous finally on PS5… Prototype is actually better anyway and it’s insane how it was overshadowed by Infamous to begin with.

I have close to $10 on it, but you can only spend them on certain items and I haven’t seen an item under $50 that you can use the points on, let alone anything I actually want.

Mice are cheap. Even Bluetooth ones, which wouldn’t need a dock or dongle to be used with the deck.
