Buy a mouse with a joystick or D-Pad on it. Or one of those 15 button mice meant for MMOs. Then you can play anything.

Yes you can; 3rd party GPU coolers are a thing and they’re not difficult to install.
(And next time I’d advise reading reviews before buying a GPU, especially the noise level section.)
Quite the opposite for me.
I usually have no fewer than 20-50 tabs open at any given moment. Mainly duplicates of the same webpage because I forgot that I already opened the tab, random sites I want to come back to in a few days but don’t want to bookmark because I already have too many bookmarks, random porn tabs from a month ago because I forgot about them… Stuff like that.
(That’s ADHD for you.)
You don’t need a VPN if you use a Debrid service for torrents instead of a torrent client. It’s cheaper than a VPN and you get direct downloads at consistent Gigabit speeds too.
My main and all my alts except one was banned cause I kept reporting blatant ads disguised as legitimate posts as spam. Happened around the same time they killed off 3rd party apps, so I needed a good excuse to try Lemmy anyway.
And yeah even at $40 they’re still a good deal. They have about a $10 build quality, though. However the $500+ sound quality more than makes up for it.
By the way, I forgot to mention that you should also get the velour ear pads mentioned in the modding guide I linked to earlier. The stock ones are too thin and as such they can cause ear pain. The velour also helps with bass response.
Yeah seriously it’s so annoying.
I’m embarrassed to admit this, but Amazon. They love to randomly jack the price up but it often drops back down to $25. You can set up a price watch on CamelCamelCamel.
The GPU has less than 10% the CUDA cores of a 4090, a GPU that can’t hit 120 FPS in most modern games @4K without DLSS. No way in hell will the Switch 2 hit 120 FPS @1080p, not without some extreme DLSS upscaling and some serious graphical compromises… Proper RT is completely out of the question.
This thing won’t even be able to keep up with the PS5, a 5 year old console. It will compete with the Steam Deck, however.
That said, I miss the days when Nintendo cared about graphics. But at this point it’s been over 25 years since those days. That’s almost as long as it’s been since I last enjoyed a Mario or Zelda game. Between all this and the fact that they sue their fans, I am so done with Nintendo. I feel like I’ve outgrown them anyway.
For me it’s the Superlux HD681. Audiophile-quality sound for $25.
The deep bass, neutral mids, and near-perfect imaging and sound staging makes them ideal for games, movies, and music. It has an excellent pinna-related transfer function, so everything sounds like it’s coming from in front of you and all around, rather than inside your head. Like being surrounded by speakers. In games you can pinpoint sounds with millimeter precision. And since they’re so cheap, they don’t have to be babied; when they break you just buy another pair and go about your day.
No joke, I’ve bought and returned $500 planar magnetic headphones that weren’t as good as these. The only issue with them is that the highs can be a bit siblant, leading to harshness, but that can easily be EQed out or permanently fixed with a mod.
Seriously, just go buy a pair. I mean everyone reading this, even if you’re not an enthusiast. They’re so cheap, it’s all but impossible to regret it.
I opted for an automatic pressure cooker instead.
You want to talk about most used kitchen appliance? It’s a rice cooker, slow cooker, steamer, sous vide machine, bread maker, pressure cooker, and induction cooktop, all in one!
Dude, VR has been affordable for over half a decade now. Get with the times.
There’s a no VR mod in the workshop but don’t bother because without VR this game is nothing special.
I feel like most people who sing praises for Alyx only do so because it was their first VR game. (a lot of people bought a headset just for it.) It’s decent game, but without VR it’s nothing special.
Sucks that VR is still a niche product, despite it being an obtainable consumer product for almost a decade now (edit: and affordable for over half a decade now). When the OG Rift and Vive first dropped, I imagined it being as popular as traditional gaming within 5 years. Yet here we are 9 years later and we still don’t have epic, 50+ hour AAA experiences in VR because hardly anyone owns a headset. Every VR game feels like an indie title.
Fable 2 has guns? Damn I need to play this series. I thought it was just some fantasy wizard bullshit. (LotR is the only fantasy wizard bullshit that I enjoy, everything else can die in a fire.)
Buy a smartwatch and let it figure it out for you. Samsung watches are great for fitness.
I agree but it works in a pinch and is better than nothing.
