Ah, I see you have a Samsung refrigerator.

TSA Precheck. Yes, it’s borderline extortion but it really is a LOT faster and more stress free at major hubs.
Just keep in mind that Colorado isn’t a state that voted for him.
For me it was finding joy in work.
I, partly, became a manager to help others develop. I’ve been fortunate and worked for a few companies that believe the company can’t be at its best unless we’re training others to do our roles, train up mentality. I found that it’s a major kick to see someone succeed in something they never thought they could achieve.
I’ve helped a guy making decent money, make a lot more, raise his credit substantially, and fulfill the dream of owning a home. That’s something he never thought he’d be able to do. He was stuck in the mentality of born poor, die poor. He just needed someone to show him how our capitalist systems work and how to take advantage of that. Not only is he making more money but he’s happier and therefore more productive and does better quality work. No other sense of accomplishment has come close for me than directly affecting others lives. It’s really something.
And echoing what others’ have said, you do build endurance to the hours and grind the more you do it. I can basically work all day and not feel tired until I finally relax. I’m fortunate enough to have a job that has shorter days to balance the longer and I’m not stuck in an office all day (which I HATE). Not all jobs are office only / physical labor only. The great thing about COVID is that it forced remote work and a lot more flexibility in a lot of industries. I’m more of a hybrid work is best for me person.
It also helps to build a solid daily, weekly, monthly routine or “battle rhythm” as the military puts it. This helps break up the monotony of the days while keeping you on track to succeed. Consistency is the major thing that separates those that accomplish their goals and those that don’t.
Go on a sugar detox for 30 days just by cutting out sugary drinks like soda or sweet tea. When you go back to drinking it you’ll be chocked at how sweet it tastes now. You’ve just become desensitized to the 38-45g of sugar in a 12oz. The major benefit is you just feel better. Sugar is totally a drug.
I’ve got a bug out zone extremely close to a bordering country that’s self sufficient. Staying put unless things get wildly out of hand. We could probably house another 2 families if needed.
Ya GOT THAT!?
Army of Darkness. I mean it’s freaking Bruce Campbell. Kiss the king baby.
Samsonite! I was way off.
This is all of Homebridge. God bless ‘em.
Tom’s hardware is still good.
Technically that’s a Drain tech. A plumber will almost certainly tell you they don’t unclog drains (even though there is GREAT money in it, since no one wants to do it themselves, but will complain about the price anyway).
There’s a lot of different pay plans out there. No idea what roto rooter is paying their techs these days.
Pay is great in my opinion for apprentices but the hours are tough. You will definitely learn a shit load quickly if you pay attention, ask questions, and find a company/lead that doesn’t treat you like shit.
Because SMB works reliably on macOS. Never had an issue. I also prefer Cyberduck and actual sftp so … take my word with a grain of salt.
Galveston Island, TX for a family get together later this year. We just got back from Alaska and it was a pretty great trip.
I do think the government agencies need 3rd party auditing. Anyone who has worked for them or with them (private contractors) knows how much unchecked spending there is. “It’s not my money” attitude.
HOWEVER, how DOGE is going about it should be absolutely illegal. There needs to be checks and balances on both sides.
Doesn’t answer your questions but I also don’t think we just not look into the ridiculous amounts of money we spend on running the government either. Yeah, it takes a lot to run it but I know how much waste there is just in private companies too.
This always falls on its face for work. No one does collaboration as easy as Microsoft and that’s not changing anytime soon. I mean, everyone would have to move all at once. I can move to Linux on my personal devices and it’s not going to change stats one bit.
They’re definitely some of the best but expensive. Their ANC is incredible as is the transparency mode, it’s so good they may as well not be in my ears. They’re the only things keeping me sane at work in a shared office. I can’t hear a damned thing with them in and active. Plus the music sounds great for their size. And the battery life is god tier. They last forever.
I’ve got the newest version AirPods Pro 2 w/USB-C and MagSafe charging.
Calm down tiger, who’s judging here? Just stating facts. I drink alcohol from time to time but I also realize I feel better when I don’t regularly.
