Haven’t read it myself but I’ve heard good things
I’ve heard that’s a great book; that and “Im glad my mom died” by Jennette McCurdy
They’re fine now, as people, but I don’t hold a lot of trust in them and I don’t tell them much about my interests.
To modify the Miranda rights quote, “anything you say, do, or express interest in can and will be used against you”. Anything i talked about or enjoyed in my childhood was poked fun at by my dad to the point i stopped enjoying it and stopped talking to them about my likes/dislikes, and my mom can’t/couldn’t keep a secret for shit.
Dad also had zero understanding of personal space or privacy, and would just barge in my bedroom at any time (through a locked door, one of those doorknobs that can be unlocked with a flathead or a coin).
Stopped invading my personal space after i got big enough and held him in an elbow lock in a public space once; he kept putting his hand in my face and i eventually slapped it away, he got pissed and tried to get us to leave and grabbed my arm.
We get along mostly fine as adults after i moved out, he recognizes he fucked up a lot, but i don’t consider it a close relationship.
God that show fucks you up emotionally
Plus, free parasites! :D
I could, but ive got triple 27" 4K now. I dont really need more monitors
I kinda liked 16:10, briefly had a work monitor with it.
It is in an apartment so its probably a cheap piece of junk (frigidaire or hotpoint, one of those brands i think) but it just cant maintain a high temperature; cant stir fry, cant maintain a rolling boil for consistent pasta, etc
Stoves with Sensi-temp burners; they’ve got a weird little spring loaded disc in the center of the burner. Cant even boil fucking water consistently because it shuts itself off over a certain temperature and doesn’t come back on for far too long.
Oof, yeah, thats awful.
Never been reliant on wifi tbh, I’ve generally been an Ethernet purist and have never owned a personal laptop (just desktops). Even for work laptops id use either onboard ethernet or a dongle
Same, but grapheneOS and max screen width (big hands / fat fingers).
Does wifi chipset matter on a laptop? Its just an m.2 Key E chip, should be easily replaceable. Cant imagine manufacturers would solder that on, its not like RAM
Get-command -noun <string[]>
Handy AF
One at a time. Cant get enough pressure to do both at once.
I really didn’t like how railroad-y 5 was. Mechanics and gameplay wise its great, but the forced kidnapping story formula was so bad.
I felt Jacob Seed was more compelling as a villain than Joseph. Survival of the fittest extremism in the wilderness.
Wont somebody think of the poor children and men with beards!?
Making posts about how you’re not home is bad OpSec.
Nah, those are already called slush-bergs
