That’s what I was going to say. Kids shoes are cheaper.
I’m 5’10" with a size 14 shoe, and it’s frustrating because they stop making half sizes above 12 which means it’s often difficult to find a good fitting shoe. I also have a 6’5" wingspan so shirts always either have too short of sleeves, or they are way too long on the torso.
Yeah I do OS installs for other people all the time but my main PC is a hot mess and I run a bunch of problematic software including VR. I’ll probably end up setting up a dual boot of Win11 & Linux and avoid Windows as much as possible. But I will procrastinate because I already use both OS’s on other PCs so I know what to expect. I’ll put it off as long as possible, hoping they postpone. Never do today what you can put off til next year :)
This sounds like October’s problem.
I have a decent list of software I need it for unfortunately so I’m keeping my best PC on Windows, but I have four PCs in the house. I’ve been running Linux on one of them for a couple years but the other two will be moved over by Windows 10 EOL.
Not to mention “most people” wouldn’t fit in here or feel welcome. Remember Donald Trump won the popular vote and even those who didn’t vote didn’t feel strongly enough about either side to pick one or the other. It’s not just the US, far right candidates keep gaining popularity in parts of Europe. And I think a lot of people aren’t interested in Star Trek or trans rights. The niche communities have very low levels of activity too. The fediverse just isn’t for everyone.

Yeah that makes sense, I doubt they’re designed to handle the weight of a grown man, even a fit one.
