I did some bad formatting during my initial setup of caddy. Having the formater is really handy.

That’s because ther nvidia driver broke the report button. /s
They are working hard on Cosmic, here is to hoping that we will see a full release soonTM.
This is the information I had to specify when I connected from Linux and Android:
Security: WPA2 Enterprise/802.1xEAP Encryption/EAP: PEAP EAP Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2 CA certificate: <domain>
That is in addition to a username and password I had to create via the university’s website. On Windows, username and password sufficient.
I think the difference is that with open source you won’t lose money if the users leave. If you have creating a software that is not selling because it is missing a feature, you are incentivised to implement it.
On windows, I only had to enter username and password.
fanzyzones
Thanks!! This is just what I need. Pop_os has an equivalent in their DE and because work I have windows and I really miss it.
That is probably a not too uncommon use case. My patents-in-law got a old computer from me, their son installed Linux mint on it and I helped them with adobe/epub. They browse the web and that’s it.
Wait, so no Bluetooth is better than bad Bluetooth?
I like popos, or it’s like Ubuntu without their proprietary stuff and gnome but better.
What’s the suspend issue? OS can’t sleep/hibernate? My previous and current laptop had this problem with Windows 11. The previous laptop did not have this issue on popos. Still on windows on current, so I just use hibernate if I don’t need it so (sleep is not working).
I had this issue, using pop. It just would not connect without specifying some parameters (I can’t remember which, domain or something and a few others). I had the same problem on Android, with the same solution.
If you want to try it out on your device for cheep, install Linux on an USB and boot from that.
I had a situation where I needed Linux and windows installed. I just used two different HDDs instead, I’ve read too many angry posts about their boot- something being messed up and not recoverable.
They want ReactOS.
Agreed. All the listed problems seem moot when viewing the project as a personal one.
