¯\_(ツ)_/¯
$1-10 now is preparation for the future
Games are digital, much less production costs. Widely distributed, far greater than 20-30 years ago. Efficiency has gone up ten fold with modern tech. Nintendo still makes billions in profit each year, don’t play the “they deserve more money for their work” bullshit.
Damn man, you brought some serious attitude here. Take a fucking walk.
He asked a legit question. You didn’t say “PC”, you said steam specifically. Why does the launcher matter?
Seriously. It’s tried and true.
There’s a hundred different versions of amazing Mario and Zelda games that you can play already with emulators and on an old switch/computer/steamdeck. Wait till the new one is emulated, don’t enable Nintendo to do this shit.
Yes I agree this could be made easier. When did you do this, maybe it’s been added since?
To be honest, I have no idea where to install language packs for windows either.
But they come with instructions usually. Copy paste done.
Falls under advanced users or copy paste from forums with instructions.
ABSOLUTELY no racism, whatsoever
When are you REQUIRED to use cli? The app store works well, many apps have installers, and will be perfect for average users.
Advanced users should already be familiar with CLI and just need to learn a little more.
Not always, but yes.
This household will be migrating to steamdeck or equivalent. We’ve invested too much into PC games and moving our main desktops to Linux, it only seems right. I’m tired of supporting companies that don’t care about us, only our money, and even then slap you when you’re not looking.
Yup! Not all, but most. Some with high levels of cheaters block family sharing, like RUST
Only recently has steam gotten better at this. I’ve got my account, my kids account, and a 3rd account that owns games we may want to play, so that it doesn’t tie up either of our main accounts or if we want to have a guest use it. (all are shared to each other). Until last year, it was not super easy sharing them all, lots of logins, authorizations, etc.
Duke Nukem Sometimes: The Prequel
FC3 and Blood Dragon got me back into fps games after a break from Fallout 3. Still two of my favorite games ever.
Just hide desktop icons
Well I’m making myself a deal, starting today, no more gas station trips for soda. If I can make it the month and start riding my bike again, I’m getting a steam deck.
And will emulate the fuck out of switch games. Kiddo already has a hacked switch.
